-Rochester Farmers' Market.
9am to 1pm, Corporation Street Car Park, the 3rd Sunday of
each month.

Dickens Christmas Market.
Wednesdays-Sundays, from 30th November to 18th
December in the Castle Grounds.
Only the second year of this event, which was adversely affected
by the snow last year.

Concerts – 13th to 16th July- Squeeze on the 13th,
Peter Andre on the 14th, N-Dubz on the 15th, Proms
on the 16th.
Rochester Castle Concerts Under Siege – 17th
July- A free concert by young people for young people.

Sweeps Festival – 30th
April to 2nd May- May-day
celebrations in Rochester. Tons of Morris and real ale
for the folkie.
Dickensian Summer Festival
– 3rd to 5th June- Pomp
and parades.
Fuse Festival – 17th
to 19th June- A somewhat
shortened offering to the arts this year.
Dickensian Christmas Festival
– 3rd and 4th December- An
ideal opportunity for buying unique gifts and enjoying the festive
atmosphere.

Medway Mile – 27th
July – This starts in the castle grounds, with the event
running from 5pm onwards (the actual run
starts somewhat later…)
Medieval Merriment
– 3rd and 4th September - Rochester
of old besieges the castle.
Heritage Open Days – 8th to 11th
September – Several local Heritage sites
offer free entry this weekend.
